Preventive check-ups can save lives: new client ‘Institut für Bildgebende Diagnostik’
Oct 2nd, 2009 | By Ayenegbe Stephen | Category: Articles in English | Trackback URLStatistically every eighth woman in Germany is diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in her life. Despite this fact only a minority takes advantage of regular preventive check-ups. The reasons for this are manifold: some feel uneasy during mammographic screening; others fear the exposure to radiation. Modern magnetic resonance mammography (MRM) is a promising alternative offered by the Institut für Bildgebende Diagnostik (institute for screening procedures in diagnostics), the first of its kind in the Rhine-Main area. In the field of communication and public relations, the team around Prof. Dr. mult. Michael K. Stehling trusts in the competence of knoefler-journalist.
The early detection of changes in the tissue can avoid suffering and save lives. Our task in the external communication of the institute is to raise public awareness for the importance of taking advantage of check-up measures. This does not only refer to breast cancer: in a large number of diseases people are biased when it comes to preventive medical examination. By distributing well-founded information this issue can be tackled. The Institut für Bildgebende Diagnostik is our second client from the field of medicine to rely on our experience and know-how. And our team for its part is eager to take on the new challenge and pursue a goal which definitely deserves our unrestricted commitment.
